Ivolt.com Mandi Arvizu

Colour + Texture: Jensen Ackles

Hello everyone!
are new to the community and this is my first post, as well as my first tutorial, so I hope I explained myself well. Since it is a bit 'long I put it under cut, but do not be intimidated by the length .. it is actually easier than it looks like!
I use Photoshop CS4 in English, but I do think that the commands are the same.

by: to:

1. Cut out your image 100px x 100px

2. Duplicate the base and put the level you got up Screen (Opacity: 100%, Fill: 100%)

3. Duplicate the base again and place the new layer to Multiply (Opacity: 50%, Fill: 100%)

4. Duplicate the base again and place the new layer to Soft Light (Opacity: 50%, Fill: 100%)

5. Go to the menu Layer -> New Adjustment Layer -> Selective Color and use the following settings (of course depends on the photos you're using)

Reds: -40, -25, +51, -5
Yellows: -17, 0, 0, +20
Blues: -51, -18, +12, +31
Whites: -12, -2, -1, -10 Neutrals
: +8, -1, +5, +1
Blacks: 0, -1, -3, +5

6. Go to the menu Layer -> New Adjustment Layer -> Gradient Map and use these settings, set the layer on Soft Light (Opacity: 100%, Fill: 100%)

7. Go to the menu Layer -> New Adjustment Layer -> Gradient Map and use these settings, set the layer on Soft Light (Opacity: 100%, Fill: 100%)

8.Andate menu Layer -> New Adjustment Layer -> Brightness / Contrast and use these settings:
Brightness: +38 Contrast
: +3

9.Usate this texture by [info] Tihana , how to turn it makes you more comfortable and set it on Screen (Opacity: 100%, Fill: 100%). In my case I turn (Edit -> Transform -> Flip Horizontal)

10. Duplicate the texture and set it back to Screen (Opacity: 50%, Fill: 100%)

11. Add the words: Place them as you like, go to Blending Options, OuterGlow:

12. Duplicate the writing course, but the level achieved under the original written, set it on Lighten (Opacity: 70%, Fill: 100%). Now move it where you like.

13. Last step: Create a new layer that goes above all others, select the Rectangolar Marquee Tool and make a selection of the entire image, like this:

Right click on the selection-> Stroke with width: 1px Color : # fffff, Inside.

I leave the order of layers, usually clarifies things!

I hope I have been clear, let me know if there are any questions / concerns / misunderstandings and try to help .. e.. let me see your works! ^ ^

Caulking Alternatives

photoshop_ita @ 2009-05-29T13: 40:00

Short post to mention a very simple texture, but that 'a nice:)

The texture in question is this: ... yes ok, you do not see almost anything, but trust me, lol.
Basically adds a blur effect to the clear edge of your icon (may be the edge at the bottom or the top or side) and in the case of my example, 'a feeling of "undefined" at the margin of low' Image ...
If you want to do an experiment, you can also change from white to black ... also will have a particular dark ;-)

Another example with the same texture applied, however, is at the bottom than at the top:

I would say frankly that I am still in love with that man. The only way out is to love the music a bit 'more' strong ... Here's the music - http://karakovski.livejournal.com/540059.html (and even that man)
