By popular demand ... the tutorial to make animated gifs! Yes, I know that I had already posted one (here it ), we say that this is version 2.0:), as simple as possible and based on Photoshop CS4 (or CS3) rather than on ImageReady. The first part
(the cut of the video with VirtualDub or with another program of your choice) is identical to the first tutorial, so I repeat only briefly
- Open the video you are interested in Virtualdub
- Select Part of the video you want to cut the two black arrows that are at the end of the command buttons ->
- Set options on: Audio -> No audio, video -> Normal recompress
- Save the video File -> Save as avi
For the second part we use this time Photoshop CS4
- Open Photoshop and click on "File -> Import -> Video Frames to Layers, and after you have selected your video, click Upload
- This will be the screen that will come out: . Leave the ball on "from start to finish, but if your video is long enough, select" Only one out of every 2 frames "and click OK
(- On the bottom of Photoshop will now have to display the frames in the strip your videos, otherwise click on Window -> Animation)
- Arrange the parameters you want to your gif: resize, place the color, add written, change the frame duration
- Save your gif to File -> Save For Web & Devices (possibly arranged the block of color options and websites to reduce weight the gif) ->
Fine! The basics are these ... Then of course there are many little things to learn and you try to get the hang of it a lot ... If you have problems or questions, ask!
